You will monitor and analyze project system usage and support related process improvement for cross-functional teams to optimize efficiencies and promote enterprise adoption of standardized processes and applications.   Job Responsibilities: - Proactively monitors performance and integrations across multiple platforms and collaborates with stakeholders to identify, isolate, analyze, and resolve issues - Coordinates resolution of escalated issues with Haskell IT and/or system vendor technical resources - Leads periodic integration and/or coordination meetings with stakeholders, tracks progress, and supports the implementation of solutions - Researches user-reported issues, identify root causes and resolutions, implements fixes, and liaises between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams - Captures critical data consistently and accurately in systems of record and related applications to advance enterprise data quality, usability, and reliability - Participates in end-to-end testing of project technologies and systems - Ensures system quality assurance test results are accurate, thorough, and appropriately documented - Tracks system defects and enhancements, coordinates resolution and response efforts, provides status updates, and maintains corresponding change logs and release documentation - Contributes to the development, communication, and maintenance of end-user tools and materials, including operating procedures; business processes; training content, user guides, etc. - Educates end users on enhanced functionality through training and communication, providing support and guidance as needed - Assists with internal process improvement projects as needed - Effectively collects, analyzes, and presents data and feedback on project systems and processes, along with recommended changes to continuously improve user experience and organizational efficiency - Travel to project sites, regional offices, and industry events as needed Education/Experience: - Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Accounting, Information Systems, or associate degree with 4+ years of relevant experience Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications: - Excellent analysis, problem-solving, collaboration, and time management skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite of apps - Experience in the use of ERP systems. In addition you will assist the Director of Preconstruction and/or Chief Estimator with final bid closeout.   Job Responsibilities: - Pre-Estimate - Participates in design review meetings. Reviews and monitors scope, cost, and constructability during design development - Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate. - Estimate Development - Ability to estimate Civil, Structural & Architectural (CSA) Scopes of Work at all levels of design. - In addition to preparing detailed cost estimates, is responsible for reviewing the estimate with other team members. - Follows master estimate format for developing the Civil, Structural & Architectural (CSA) estimates, including but not limited to, work breakdown structures (WBS), forecasted wage rates, etc. - Ability to create estimates at various levels of design. - Review and verify the construction project schedule pertaining to estimated scopes of work. - Develop detailed scope of work clarifications associated with estimate. - Participate in pre-bid site visits. - Participates in design, scope, operations and estimate reviews. - Assess Value Engineering options on a basis of cost, schedule, and constructability. Provide recommendation on best solution. - Review design options and recommend best solution based on cost, engineering quality, method of construction, construction schedule, etc. - Subcontractor and Vendor Management - Assist in preparation and review final bid packages to ensure accuracy and completeness, prior to formal quotation. - Builds and maintains subcontractor and vendor relationships. - Ensures that at least three (3) quotes are received per bid package, unless otherwise agreed to by the proposal leader. - Verifies that only qualified subcontractors are considered in final subcontractor selection. - Meets with local subcontractors as needed. - Organizes and leads pre-bid meetings, if required - Works with the Business Diversity Coordinator when proposing on federal or public sector agency projects to develop a minority business participation engagement plan that complies with project requirements. - Receives quotes and conducts subcontractor analysis. You will plan and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure the established goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame. You should have proficiency and a working knowledge of Primavera/P6, Time Impact Analysis (TIA), CPM scheduling (Critical Path Methods), Resource Loading, Delay Analysis, etc.   Job Responsibilities: - Develop network logic diagrams, bar charts, and schedule reports for project schedules, as required, to support the project management teams, estimating, and business development - Manage the development of schedules for estimating, as requested - Coordinate with the Project Manager with the preparation of estimates to complete and cash flow projections for cost-loaded schedules - Develop project schedules for business development that will be submitted with the proposals - Maintain individual project schedules, including the development of baseline reviews - Back up the project schedule - Manage resource and cost loading the project schedule based on project requirements - Keep progress up-to-date in the project schedule - Monitor the procurement and submittal schedule portion of the project schedule - Coordinate with the Superintendent in creating a short-term look-ahead schedule - Attend the scheduling portion of project reviews, as required - Prepares project reports as requested - Confers with the project team to provide technical advice and to help resolve scheduling challenges - Assist as required in developing the schedule of values with the guidance of the Project Manager and estimators for cost-loaded schedules - Assist with the training of others and monitor their work for quality and completeness Education/Experience: - Four-year degree in engineering or construction management - 10 - 15 years of scheduling experience on large construction projects - Experience on vertical, international or water/wastewater projects or self-perform projects is a plus Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications: - Proficiency in Primavera/P6 scheduling software including cost/resource loading and analysis - Must be able to physically operate a computer, including keyboard and mouse - Must be able to physically access working areas of a construction project site - Must be able to travel to project sites as needed to perform essential duties - Must be able to travel to meet with Haskell management, clients, vendors, partners, or associations; or to attend conferences or training, as needed to perform essential duties - Work in excess of a 40-hour workweek may be required - Experience in estimating, scheduling, budget/cost control, field supervision, financial reporting, client relationship, computer skills, and interpersonal skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong organizational and leadership skills - Strong attention to detail - Knowledge of industry-standard bid practice Haskell offers a very robust and comprehensive benefits package!
