In this role, you will assist the Commissioning Agent from design through final reporting. Tasks will include but not limited to development of pre-functional forms, construction site visits, site visit reporting, and assisting with functional testing.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Works with the commissioning (Cx) team to develop pre-functional checklist (PFC).
  • Perform construction phase site visits.
  • Field reporting from site visits.
  • Works with the Cx team for tracking of open issues from field reporting.
  • Works with the Cx team to perform functional testing with Commissioning Agent and contractors.
  • Works with the Cx team to perform seasonal testing if required.
  • Works with the Cx team to completion and review data of the pre-functional checklist for accuracy.
  • Travel requirements: Up to 50% annually, based on business needs
  • Other duties which may be assigned as needed.

Education/Experience:

  • Associate degree plus 0-3 years of experience in commissioning preferred, or a combination of education and experience.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications:

  • General knowledge of the commissioning processes and procedures for MEP.
  • Excellent organizational, communications and analytical skills.
  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to problem solve buy finding resources to obtain information required to complete task.

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

 

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
