Dysruptek identifies strategic investments in early stage technology companies with solutions to address the major challenges facing the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Research and identify new and emerging technologies relevant to the AEC industry
  • Conduct detailed assessment of potential technologies, analyzing factors such as technical feasibility, cost-benefit analysis, and alignment with organizational goals
  • Design and execute pilot programs to test emerging technologies in real-world scenarios, ensuring robust evaluation of the impact on processes and outcomes
  • Collect and analyze data from technology pilots to provide actionable insights, detailed reports, and recommendations for scaling successful implementations
  • Monitor advancements in construction technology, artificial intelligence, IoT, robotics, and other relevant fields to proactively recommend strategies that maintain a competitive edge
  • Engage with technology providers, startups, and industry leaders to explore partnerships and stay informed about the latest tools and solutions
  • Occasionally travel to other Haskell offices, job sites, conferences, or external partners to gather insights, oversee project progress, or present findings.

 

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or relevant field
  • 0-3 years of relevant industry experience through internship or professional positions
  • Process improvement, lean methodology and/or project management experience highly preferred
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

 

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
