Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the logistics operations supporting global construction projects
  • Report on operational updates and scheduling in projects meetings
  • Create contracting document for logistics-related services and materials
  • Create and manage the project’s logistics budget
  • Carry out required bid processes for logistics operations
  • Complete and submit bid level forms to Project Managers and the Client
  • Direct and manage regional shipping coordinators in executing logistics operations
  • Review invoices and support the finance team in paying shipping partners accurately and on time
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking and delivery information
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics processes and improve efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the logistics function
  • Review logistics invoices for accuracy
  • Provide project managers with required information and updates on timely basis and keeping supervisor apprised as to progress of the work
  • Ensure the appropriate paperwork for logistics activities remains on schedule and in compliance with Haskell contract requirements
  • Review documents to ensure they are of good appearance, accuracy, clarity and correctness, adhering to team and client's standards
  • Complete analysis and/or calculations as required
  • Travel as required
  • Other duties which may be assigned as needed

  • Proven managerial experience, especially in logistics or a related field

  • Strong work ethic and self-motivated

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic developing program with a high workload

  • Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office applications

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

  • Willing and able to travel internationally

  • Continual Improvement related training and certifications is desirable, but not mandatory

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required and 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain preferred, or a combination of education and experience

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

 

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
