We are seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist to provide innovative and strategic marketing support for a diverse portfolio of nationally recognized clients in the Beer, Wine, and Spirits (BWS) industry.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, editing and executing marketing/business development documents (i.e. digital and print assets) and participate in developing the marketing strategy for BWS
  • Communicating with market leaders, business development, marketing and other internal stakeholders to set priorities and plan strategies/campaigns that will help achieve sales objectives
  • Executing the planning and development of marketing campaigns and social media for the BWS market including:
    • Collecting and analyzing relevant market data
    • Assembling detailed data reports on specific market verticals and clients within the Beer, Wine & Spirits industry
    • Utilizing market data to create and disseminate targeted messaging across multiple platforms
    • Researching and analyzing keywords, develop content, develop landing pages and track click-thru rates, conversion rates and overall ROI
  • Supervising and leading the development of content for the website
  • Leading specialty programs or assignments for the BWS market
  • Supervising multiple tasks/activities and proposal teams against the schedule for delivery and consistency
  • Collaborating with members of BWS proposal and presentation teams and make recommendations
  • Researching, designing and writing various proposal and business development collateral focused on the BWS market (i.e., brochures, flyers, postcards, project profiles, advertisements)
  • Leading public relations, advertising and other outside events (i.e. tradeshows) as required, which may require some travel
  • Supervising and authoring content for the internal group database of project descriptions, resumes, standard content, clients, subconsultants, contacts (i.e. CRM)
  • Executing the production and design of qualifications, proposals, presentations, award submittals and other marketing assignments:
    • Reviewing RFP/RFQ and client’s needs
    • Planning/outlining the criteria/responsibilities
    • Assigning responsibilities/monitor deadlines
    • Producing content which best meets client’s criteria
    • Writing/editing content
    • Leading kickoff and quality review meetings
    • Leading presentation development and assist with interview coaching
  • Researching, organizing and preparing analytics/reports for the BWS market
  • Assisting in training and supervision of marketing specialist(s) for growth and development

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (marketing, communications, English, journalism, business administration or technical field)
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) industry preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong editing capabilities
  • Extremely detail oriented and acute attention to accuracy
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Understanding of marketing and business development principles

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

 

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
