Your Role Will Include:

  • Leading the planning, design, and execution of industrial wastewater treatment projects.
  • Applying your PE license to develop and validate engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive project designs.
  • Performing engineering calculations for process design and system hydraulics.
  • Working with equipment manufacturers to specify and select wastewater treatment equipment.
  • Assisting construction teams with equipment submittals and RFIs.
  • Conducting site assessments and developing tailored treatment solutions while troubleshooting complex issues and optimizing system performance.
  • Engaging with clients to understand their needs and maintain strong relationships.
  • Creating and updating project documentation, including technical reports and progress updates while staying updated with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.

What You'll Need to Thrive:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or related field.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 5-10 years of experience in wastewater treatment system design and implementation.
  • Deep knowledge of treatment technologies and system hydraulics.
  • Proficiency in engineering software, including AutoCAD and hydraulic modeling tools.
  • Strong personal management skills, including budget and resource management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and a commitment to sustainability and regulatory compliance.

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

 

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
