This opportunity is with Haskell's Government Design group which offers design services to federal clients such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Federal Aviation Administration, U.S. Air Force, NAVFAC, and more. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects such as command headquarters, training facilites, office buildings, housing facilities, fitness centers, and more. We work collaboratively and strategically with our clients to deliver innovative and sustainable facilities and spaces that support the sensitive, 24/7 nature of their missions.

 

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing well-organized construction documents of good appearance, accuracy, clarity, and correctness, adhering to team and discipline standards
  • Responding to all RFI’s and reviews submittals for compliance in a timely manner
  • Adhering to established company standards and policies
  • Mentoring junior designers and technicians

 

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • High school diploma or Associate's Degree in Computer Aided Design and Drafting
  • 5+ years of structural design experience
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

 

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
