Overview

Haskell is seeking a Senior Designer - Civil Transportation in Oklahoma City, OK

 

In this role, you will perform design, detailing, and analysis under the supervision of a Licensed Professional. You will also engage in interdisciplinary coordination with peers in other design disciplines.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Assists the Design Engineer in drawing, planning, production, management, and adherence to the schedule
  • Produces well-organized, finished drawings of good appearance, accuracy, clarity, and correctness
  • Partners with technical efforts of discipline designers, technicians, and/or interns assigned to the project
  • Developing awareness of modern civil engineering technologies, procedures, and methods to utilize design tools to compile work

 

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or Associate Degree
  • 10 years of civil design experience on streets, roads, highways, and/or turnpikes

 

Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, and Certifications:

  • Knowledge of Oklahoma Department of Transportation standards and regulations
  • Ability to utilize Microstation, OpenRoads Designer, and InRoads is preferred
  • Autodesk Civil 3D

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

 

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
