The Construction & Manufacturing Team supports all of Haskell’s delivery groups across the company and the projects throughout the United States. The Construction & Manufacturing Team is responsible for providing the field management personnel, from the craft worker to the Project Superintendent. The Construction & Manufacturing Team also provides the team member with logistical support; including but not limited to establishing per diem rates, company trucks for superintendents, and the coordination of arrival for team members as needed on the project. The Construction & Manufacturing Team provides continual training for our team members to support their development from entry-level craft workers, via in-house/online courses, to local jurisdiction apprenticeship programs. Haskell assists with working your way up through the ranks, you’ll find new ways to use both your mind and your hands to get the job done.

 

As a Millwright at Haskell, you will be responsible for the installation of industrial machinery, equipment, and conveyor systems. You will be expected to use your experience to assist in rigging, lifting, and positioning equipment for proper alignment, ensuring the successful completion of installation projects.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in rigging, lifting, positioning, and aligning industrial equipment and conveyor systems.
  • Install header steel, hangout layouts, and structural steel platforms as required.
  • Operate forklifts and aerial lifts for safe equipment installation.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in installing industrial equipment, machinery, and conveyor systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and floor layouts.
  • Experience with header steel and hangout layout, structural steel platform assembly and erection.
  • Proficiency with forklift and aerial lift operation.
  • Must possess metric and SAE wrenches and sockets.
  • Working knowledge of power tools.

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift/move weights between 10-50 pounds.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity, including the ability to grasp and manipulate tools and equipment.
  • Clear visual acuity to use equipment and read documents; ability to hear and communicate effectively.
